A career as Caribbean Region Assurance Chief of Staff, part of Internal Firm Services, provides the opportunity to work at the centre of the Assurance leadership agenda. This role supports the Regional Assurance Leader, by driving strategic priorities, operational excellence, and cross-territory collaboration across the region.The Assurance Chief of Staff acts as a trusted advisor, integrator, and executor, helping translate strategy into action. This position encompasses responsibilities such as business planning, performance analysis, governance, leadership development, and plays a key role in advancing transformation initiatives. The role also involves close collaboration with territory Assurance leaders and central firm functions.
Working directly with the Regional Assurance Leader and Assurance leadership teams, the individual will support initiatives that strengthen quality, consistency, growth, and people experience across the region. The role involves significant interaction with territory leadership and collaboration with teams such as Transformation, R&Q, Finance, HC, Digital, Markets, and Business Services, ensuring that priorities are progressed effectively and delivered at pace.
As a Senior Manager or above, you will work as part of a leadership support team of problem solvers, helping Assurance leadership address complex business issues from strategy through execution. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Collaborate closely with the Regional Assurance leader to drive and implement strategic initiatives that align with PwC's Global and Caribbean objectives
Champion transformation objectives by leveraging AI, Next Generation Assurance (NGA), and digital tools; foster a digitally minded, forward-facing approach and guide teams in identifying and implementing digital advancements to enhance Assurance practices
Responsible for oversight of alternative delivery models to supplement and enhance the Assurance staffing model
Translating business goals, objectives, and requirements into tangible, actionable plans for delivery, including tracking and reporting on progress
Providing insight and analysis on performance, risks, and opportunities across the region
Preparing high‑quality materials for leadership meetings, governance forums, and partner audiences
Coordinating priority initiatives across territories and tracking progress to outcomes
Navigating ambiguity and managing multiple, competing priorities with confidence
Anticipating stakeholder needs and proposing practical, value‑adding solutions
Building trusted relationships across Assurance, territories, and central firm functions
Upholding the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct at all times
Job Requirements and Preferences
High‑performing Senior Manager, or Director candidates should demonstrate a proven record of success in:
Ability to prioritise and multi-task for effective management of multiple projects/activities and/or competing priorities
Managing complex initiatives across multiple stakeholders and jurisdictions
Working independently, exercising strong judgement and discretion
Summarising complex topics clearly for senior audiences
Balancing big‑picture thinking with attention to operational detail
Professional qualification (e.g. CPA, CA, ACCA) or equivalent experience within Assurance or professional services.
Preferred Knowledge / Skills
Strong understanding of Assurance operations, quality, and regulatory environment
Proven success or experience in innovative technologies and tools
Experience working across territories or within a regional or network structure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive‑level presentations
High attention to detail with a strong quality mindset
Ability to form effective working relationships with senior partners and leaders
Experience supporting governance, reporting, or leadership forums
