Warehouse Lead

Leadership skills necessary to manage and develop a team. Ability to define and resolve problems in a timely manner. Organizational competencies and skills to keep projects, processes, and the entire production staff are meeting the standards. Minimum of 2 years of proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role Proficient understanding of warehouse management procedures Excellent interpersonal, reading, writing, and communication abilities Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills Knowledgeable in inventory management and control practices Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Commitment to providing exceptional customer service A willingness to work extended hours when necessary Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications Forklift Certification within 90 days of employment Excellent leadership skills Familiarity with state and federal safety regulations Strong interpersonal skills Education And/Or Experience The employee should have the following: High School education is a minimum requirement. 3+ years of supervisory in a manufacturing plant with preference of experience with building product manufacturing. Experience managing people and be an effective communicator. Essential Physical Requirements/Work Environment The employee should possess the ability to: Prolong sitting or in stationary position. Wear all required personal protective equipment (hearing, vision and hardhat protection). Ability to move or traverse about the facilities. Must be able to ascend/descend stairs or ladders. Ability to work around dust, chemicals, and other substances, and in various environmental conditions. Exposure to external and internal temperature fluctuations. Exposure to sounds or noise levels that maybe uncomfortable. Ability to stand for up to 12 hours performing shift work or in a stationary position. Perform repetitive movements. Bend or twist. Wear all required personal protective equipment. Work in constant noise levels above 85 decibels. Handle, control or feel objects, tools or controls. Able to lift/move up to 50 pounds.
