Position Summary
We are seeking motivated professionals to join our Analytical Research & Development (ARD) team in Navi Mumbai. In this role, you will support small-molecule analytical activities across method development, validation, transfers, documentation, and stability studies for APIs and drug products, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams. This role involves executing routine to moderately complex analytical tasks and a broader range of assignments with increased autonomy and problem-solving expectations

Key Responsibilities
- Support analytical R&D activities such as method development, validation, transfer, routine testing and documentation for Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient (API) and Drug Product (DP) development by working under the supervision of a Senior Scientist.
- Monitor and support stability studies and analytical testing of APIs and drug products.
- Support calibration and maintenance of analytical instruments as needed.
- Perform impurity profiling, stress stability experiments, and basic degradation pathway assessments to support formulation and API process development.
- Draft and maintain SOPs; ensure compliance with safety standards and lab practices.
Qualifications
- M. Pharm. / M.Sc. in Analytical/Pharmaceutical Chemistry or a related discipline
- 2 – 4 years of Analytical Research or Quality Control experience in pharmaceutical R&D (Preferred)
Essential Skills & Competencies
- Fundamental knowledge and experience with modern analytical tools (e.g., U/HPLC, Karl Fischer, Gas chromatography, dissolution testing, particle size analysis, wet chemistry).
- Practical experience in the development of APIs and multiple dosage forms, including solids and liquids for oral, topical, and parenteral administration.
- Familiarity with stability studies, impurity characterization/isolation, and basic analytical troubleshooting.
- Basic understanding of pharmaceutical development processes.
- Awareness of quality requirements for clinical supplies and analytical perspectives of technical transfer.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills.
- Good documentation practices including electronic/manual notebook writing and other analytical related documentation

- Strong documentation skills for research recording and summarizing results.
- Usage of Microsoft word, excel, PowerPoint, power BIetc.
- Ability to stay current with new developments in analytical sciences.
- Capability to independently design, conduct, and interpret experimental data.
- Effective prioritization and management of project tasks and daily activities.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to recommend solutions.
- Commitment to safety in laboratory planning.
- Good written and oral communication, including active listening and presentation skills.
