Job Description

Executive Assistant to the General Manager


Reporting directly to the General Manager, the successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business while ensuring the smooth coordination of executive priorities, communication, and administration.


The ideal candidate will possess excellent judgement, strong written and verbal communication skills, exceptional organisational ability, and the capacity to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. This individual must be highly professional, discreet, proactive, and capable of handling confidential matters with sensitivity and sound judgement.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Manage, coordinate, and maintain an active calendar of scheduled and unscheduled meetings, appointments, and business commitments, ensuring schedules are effectively organised and prioritised.
  • Prepare and compile documentation, reports, presentations, and correspondence for meetings and business activities.
  • Attend meetings where required, taking minutes and following up on actions as appropriate.
  • Draft professional emails, letters, internal communications, reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
  • Support the General Manager with day-to-day administrative and operational responsibilities.
  • Assist with invoicing, expense tracking, reporting, and general financial administration duties.
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and confidential business documentation.
  • Research, prioritise, and follow up on matters requiring the attention of the General Manager, including sensitive or confidential issues.
  • Coordinate recruitment administration and support hiring activities for agreed roles.
  • Assist with the coordination of projects, events, meetings, and business initiatives.
  • Provide holiday cover and support across administrative functions when required.
  • Become fully familiar with internal systems, processes, and company software.
  • Undertake additional duties and responsibilities as reasonably required by the business from time to time.

  • Strong problem-solving ability with a proactive and flexible approach to work.
  • Competent across Microsoft Office and general business systems/software.


Education & Experience Requirements


  • Qualification in Business Administration, Management, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
  • Previous experience in an Executive Assistant, Personal Assistant, or senior administrative support role is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience supporting senior management or executive leadership.
  • Strong administrative and reporting experience.
  • Financial administration experience would be advantageous.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills.


What We Offer


We offer a competitive salary in the region of €45,000 – €50,000 per annum, depending on experience, together with the opportunity to grow your career within a progressive and expanding business.
