Pay Range: $25 per hour
Position: Freezer Material Handler (Level 4) – 2nd shift ColdQuest
Hours: 3:00 p.m. – shift end (hours may vary)
Entry Rate of Pay: $22.00/hour + $1.00/hour shift premium + $2.00/hour CQ Freezer premium = $25.00/hr

It is Request Foods expectation that each member will offer his/her services wherever and whenever necessary to ensure the success of the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work the majority of the day in the freezer environment (-10deg F)
- Operate a stand up reach truck in a safe and timely manner to assure proper unloading and storage of received materials and finished products.
- Responsible for the accurate picking and recording of customer orders.
- Load and transfer frozen ingredients from the receiving dock into appropriate freezer locations.
- Use computer terminal to look up and locate inventory information (Datex).
- Select orders according to proper product code numbers and quantities.
- Select product from proper location to assure proper product rotation.
- Complete paperwork accurately, neatly and in a timely fashion.
- Perform lifting following approved methods to avoid injury.
- Perform cycle counts as needed.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed for forklift operation and other work practices to avoid and eliminate workplace hazards.
- Follow all GMP and Product Safety practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications/ Education/ Skills
- Forklift certified or ability to obtain forklift certification.
- Must have proficient math skills (i.e., counting, addition/subtraction/multiplication)
- Must have basic computer skills (i.e., data entry, locating information)
Personal Qualities/ Characteristics
- Ability to read and write English.
- Strong English communication skills
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently with others.
- Good organizational skills and detailed oriented.
