JOB SUMMARY

The Lead Coordinator oversees the daily operations of the Clubhouse and ensures the successful implementation of the Work‑Ordered Day. This role provides leadership, coordination, and support to staff and members, fostering a recovery‑oriented, inclusive, and collaborative environment. The Lead Coordinator ensures program quality, compliance with Clubhouse International standards, and alignment with agency and contract requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide daily oversight of Clubhouse unit operations, ensuring activities are organized, purposeful, and aligned with the work‑ordered day.
  • Promote active member engagement in all program areas, encouraging participation in clerical, culinary, wellness, employment, and social activities.
  • Assist with onboarding and training of new staff to ensure consistency in Clubhouse practices and expectations.
  • Supervise, coach, and support staff in delivering high‑quality, member‑centered services.
  • Promote and facilitate meaningful member participation in all aspects of the work‑ordered day.
  • Support Transitional, Supported, and Independent Employment programs.
  • Ensure accurate documentation, data entry, and compliance with agency and county requirements.
  • Assist with coordinating schedules, coverage, and unit‑based activities.
  • Support outreach, engagement, and community relationship‑building.
  • Maintain confidentiality of client’s care.
  • Participate in scheduled program meetings.
  • Identify opportunities for program expansion, new partnerships, and enhanced services.
  • Support planning and execution of social programming, holiday events, and community activities.
  • Maintains inventory of necessary supplies.
  • Other relevant duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral science and one year of experience OR Associate’s degree in behavioral science and two years of experience OR 5 years of experience in the behavioral health field or SUD Certification/Registration.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • Valid CA driver’s license and current auto insurance per contract requirements required.
  • Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder services preferred.
  • Cultural competency understanding required.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and EHR software preferred.
  • Valid cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and first aid certification upon hire or within 90-days of employment.
