Job Description

Conduct scientific research: This includes learning techniques such as protein assay, immunohistochemistry, and cell culture with downstream analysis. Attend weekly lab meeting to present project updates. Participate in development of scientific projects, grant writing, and manuscript writing and preparation. Develop scientific figures for projects. Stay up to date with literature. Attend and partake in local seminars and conferences. Lab maintenance: Mopping/sweeping Decontamination Refill disenfectants Clean lab supplies Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Experience in health science research. Ability to communicate effectively with different groups/individuals. Skill in public speaking and presenting information to large groups. Present and discuss scientific results.
