Responsibilities
- Build and manage automation pipelines (build, test, deploy)
- Improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes
- Work with developers to optimize build and release processes
- Contribute to security hardening and secrets management
- Mentor DevOps I engineers

Qualifications
Required Skills
- Proficiency in system administration and scripting (Bash, Python)
- Strong skills in CI/CD pipeline creation and maintenance
- Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes (deployment, scaling, troubleshooting)
- Hands-on with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, etc.)
- Familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK/EFK)
- Working knowledge of networking (DNS, load balancing, VPNs, firewalls)
- Can independently manage small-to-medium scale deployments
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience
Soft Skills
- Clear, concise communication in English within distributed teams (B2/C1 level)
- Growth mindset with a bias for automation, measurement, and continuous improvement
- Pragmatic problem-solving and customer-centric thinking
- Experience collaborating in Agile teams (Scrum/Kanban)
Value-Add / Nice-to-Have Skills
- GitOps (Argo CD or Flux)
- Event streaming (Kafka)
- Secrets management (Vault, AWS KMS/Azure Key Vault)
- Security best practices (OWASP Top 10, SLSA, SBOM/SCAs)

This information reflects Brightstar Lottery’s good-faith estimate of compensation for this position at the time of publication. Actual compensation will be determined in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and internal compensation policies. Factors that we consider include, but are not limited to, role, career level, performance, skills, level of expertise, experience, location, market competitiveness, and internal equity. The estimated starting compensation range is 124,995 zł – 192,300 zł. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

This position is governed by collective bargaining agreement, which regulates the main terms and conditions of employment, including minimum salary levels, classification, working hours, leave, and other employment rights.
