Medical Provider Credentialing Specialist
Full-Time | In-Office Position
Location: Orange Park- Corporate Office
A growing multi-specialty medical practice Coastal Health in Orange Park is seeking an experienced Provider Credentialing Specialist to join our team. This is a full-time, in-office position supporting both primary care and specialty medical providers.
Responsibilities
- Manage provider credentialing and re-credentialing processes
- Maintain provider enrollment with commercial insurance plans, Medicare, and Medicaid
- Track credentialing expirations and renewals
- Ensure compliance with payer and regulatory requirements
- Communicate with insurance carriers and providers regarding credentialing status
- Maintain accurate provider records and documentation
- Assist with onboarding new providers
Qualifications
- Previous experience with medical provider credentialing required
- Experience working in a multi-specialty medical office preferred
- Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer enrollment processes
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and follow-up tasks
- Proficient in EMR/EHR systems and Microsoft Office

Requirements
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook)
- Excellent verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with physicians
- Maintain high levels of organization while being detail oriented
- Capable of meeting time-sensitive deadlines
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently and effectively
- Capable of working independently
Experience:
- Medical Credentialing: 2 years (Preferred)
- Provider Enrollment: 2 years (Preferred)
- Payer experience (Required)
- Experience in a multi-specialty setting (Preferred)
Education:
- High school Diploma or equivalent (Required)
