The Senior Analyst – US Market Access Analytics & Reporting will play a crucial role in supporting data-driven decision-making processes, generating insights, and providing strategic guidance to optimize our US Market Access, Pricing, and Reimbursement decision-making. This position requires a deep expertise in secondary analytics and statistical analytic techniques across payer, PBM, formulary, policy, and claims data to inform access strategy, contracting, launch planning, and ongoing performance management. The Senior Analyst partners closely with US Market Access Insights & Analytics team, BIT, etc., teams to translate complex access questions into actionable insights. The role also leverages AI/ML techniques to extract meaningful signals from unstructured data and applies AI-enabled approaches such as thematic synthesis and pattern detection to accelerate insights. Additionally, the analyst contributes to reporting and innovation initiatives, with a focus on enhancing analytical depth, scalability, and decision impact through AI-driven methodologies
Key Responsibilities:
Market Access Analytics
- Oversee and manage therapeutic area specific team to deliver market access analytics and reporting within agreed timelines and service levels while ensuring high analytical quality and adherence to best practices
- Lead analytics across payer, PBM, and patient-level datasets including claims, formulary status, medical policy, coverage decisions, and access restrictions
Stakeholder Partnership & Strategic Support
- Partner closely with US Market Access BIA, Pricing, Contracting, HEOR, and Commercial stakeholders to understand business priorities, define analytical roadmaps, and scope high-impact deliverables
- Act as a strategic analytics partner to support access strategy, launch readiness, pricing decisions, and contracting scenarios
- Manage and prioritize competing demands for a therapeutic area, launches, and ad-hoc requests
Advanced Analytics, AI & Insights to Action
- Guide the application of advanced analytics including statistical modeling, trend analysis, predictive analytics, and scenario modeling to understand access dynamics and drivers. Also, leverage large language models (LLMs) and AI capabilities to enhance insight generation
- Champion integration of automation, advanced analytics, and AI-enabled techniques (e.g., pattern detection, predictive indicators, text analysis of policies) to accelerate insight generation
- Support test-and-learn approaches and hypothesis-driven analyses to inform access strategy and decision-making
Team Leadership & Capability Building
- Manage, mentor, and develop individual contributors, and help onboard new joinee
- Foster a culture of innovation, connectivity, and meaningful work within the team
- Lead workload planning and prioritization to ensure sustainable delivery and high team engagement
Data Infrastructure & Governance
- Oversee technical delivery including dashboards, business rules, metric definitions, documentation, and automated reporting processes
- Partner with BIT and data engineering teams to ensure reliable, compliant, and scalable data pipelines for payer, claims, and formulary data
Required Skills:
- Strong foundation in machine learning and predictive analytics, with ability to solve complex business problems using data-driven approaches.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience working on large datasets and modern platforms (e.g., Databricks, Spark).
- Hands-on experience leveraging LLMs and AI techniques for analytics, including retrieval-augmented insights, text analytics, and knowledge synthesis from unstructured data.
- Deep understanding of US Market Access, pricing, reimbursement, and payer dynamics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex secondary datasets and policy information. Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex analytics into clear, actionable insights for non-technical stakeholders
Qualification:
- BA/BS required; advanced degree preferred with special consideration for degrees in life/physical sciences, applied sciences (computer science, mathematics, data science), or engineering
- 3+ years of professional experience in US Market Access and/or Pricing Analytics
- Proven experience managing, and developing analytics teams in a global enterprise environment
- Strong experience working with US healthcare datasets including IQVIA/SHS national & subnational data, claims, formulary, and policy data
- Demonstrated success partnering with senior Market Access, Pricing, and Commercial stakeholders
- Strong familiarity with US reimbursement, regulatory, and compliance requirements
Technical Skills (Preferred)
- Proficiency in analytics and statistical tools such as SQL, Python, and R
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI or similar)
- Experience applying AI/ML, NLP, and text analytics to extract insights from structured and unstructured data
- Ability to integrate new tools, AI capabilities, and advanced analytics techniques into complex environments
- Experience working in collaborative analytics platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Domino or similar)
