Job Qualifications: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year of experience working either in a school or working with children with special needs, or any combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the duties of the job. Experience supervising children required. Demonstrated desire to learn new skills and participate in ongoing training; willingness and ability to learn methods for teaching and managing special needs students. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide variety of individuals. Valid IVP Level One AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.

Employment Information: 26/27 school year; 30 hours per week; 194 days per school year; 15 hours K-2 Instructional Assistant and 15 hours Classroom IA

Salary: Band - Support A10 - $15.98/hour entry level  Instructional Assistant Classroom

              Band - Support A11 - $16.53/hour entry level K-2 Instructional Assistant
