Job Description
MAIN PURPOSE
Assist the Shiseido Asia Pacific and Shiseido Singapore Accounting teams on accounting responsibilities. Able to learn the different processes in Accounting function (AR), good exposure to different business units.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Learn and perform reconciliations for financial year closing
• Assist in setting the reporting templates for the new financial year
• Involve in the financial year end audit – interact and providing supporting documentations to company auditors
• Support the accounting teams on month-end closing activities, driving faster closing
• Work with IT team to identify system or data errors to improve data accuracy
• Review, analyze & detect potential issues with the integrity of the data.
REQUIREMENTS
• Proficient in MS Office (MS Excel, in particular)
• Basic Accounting knowledge
• Able to work well with others
• Good verbal communication skills
• Able to work on own initiative with guidance.
• Enthusiastic & Eager to learn.
