About the Role – Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)
The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) is part of the Unified Support organization within the Fulfillment & Provisioning team, reporting to the Fulfillment & Provisioning Delivery Manager. This role contributes to both operational execution and service delivery excellence.
The SRE is responsible for managing customer licensing requirements and provisioning cloud infrastructure, IFS products, and associated services in alignment with customer requests. The role ensures high service availability, maintains environment stability, and adheres to organizational standards, governance frameworks, and security best practices.
A strong customer-centric approach is essential, as the engineer will actively engage with customers, manage service requests, and address customer needs with professionalism, empathy, and a high standard of service delivery.
Additionally, the role requires a commitment to continuous learning and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment. The SRE will play a key role in driving automation and orchestration initiatives to improve efficiency, reliability, and timely service delivery.
Key Requirement:
Fluency in both English and Japanese is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a similar discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in the IT industry, including experience in a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role.
• Microsoft Azure certification (at least entry-level, e.g., AZ-900 or equivalent).
