Since 1924, the DeTar Healthcare System family has established footprints by developing comprehensive healthcare for the residents of the South Texas Crossroads. We've come a long way since father and son physicians, William and Webb T.

DeTar opened a 10-bed hospital in a colonial style house in Victoria, Texas. We now provide quality medical care to more than 240,000 people each year, across an 11 county service area.
