We may also collect limited usage data necessary to operate the service, such as authentication events, product interactions, and diagnostic information.

We use your information to authenticate your account, personalize job recommendations, power AI matching and resume features, and improve the service.

We may also use your information to communicate product updates, operational notices, or support responses.

Profile and application data is stored in our PostgreSQL-backed systems and related infrastructure used to operate Renata.

We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect stored data, including access controls and encrypted infrastructure where available.

Renata uses authentication-related cookies provided by Clerk so you can securely sign in and stay signed in.

We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) only after applying consent-mode defaults that deny analytics storage until you accept analytics cookies. If you reject analytics, GA4 analytics storage remains denied.

You can change your analytics choice anytime from the Cookie settings link in the footer.

We do not currently use the platform for advertising personalization or sell your personal information to third parties.

We rely on third-party providers to operate key parts of the service. For example, Clerk helps power authentication and account sessions, Resend helps us send transactional emails, and Google Analytics helps us understand product usage and site traffic.

We may also use cloud hosting, database, logging, monitoring, and infrastructure vendors as needed to run, secure, and improve Renata.

Job data displayed on the platform is sourced from public company career pages and employer-managed listings.

We keep account and profile information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide the service.

If you request deletion, we will remove or anonymize your data within a reasonable period unless we are required to retain certain information by law.

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal data.

To make a request, contact us using the information below and we will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Renata is not intended for children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.

If you believe a child has provided personal data to us, contact us so we can investigate and remove it if appropriate.

We may update this Privacy Policy as the platform changes or legal requirements evolve. When we do, we will update the 'Last updated' date on this page.
