The Drake family arrived in Central Illinois in 1852, and set down roots that still run deep. Their descendents started banking in 1920, and survived economic ups and downs for generations.
The third generation of Drake bankers is actively involved in leading Heartland Bank today, continuing the family tradition of service and relationship-building they established early in the twentieth century.
