The Inspired Teaching Demonstration School

At Inspired Teaching Demonstration Public Charter School, students learn through an academically challenging, standards-based curriculum that supports and builds their intellect, inquiry skills, imagination and integrity.

Great teachers lead every classroom, instruction is individualized, and learning is joyful and engaging. Our school houses a Teacher Residency program in which Inspired Teaching Residents work towards full certification under the guidance and supervision of our master teachers.

Students in each classroom benefit from the experience and expertise of Master Teachers and the energy and enthusiasm of new teachers. Once fully certified, our Inspired Teaching Residents graduate and go on to teach in other DC public and public charter schools.
