Jim Joseph Foundation

The Jim Joseph Foundation seeks to foster compelling, effective Jewish learning experiences for young Jews in the United States.

Established in 2006, the Jim Joseph Foundation awards grants with the aspiration that all Jews, their families, and their friends will be inspired by Jewish learning experiences to lead connected, meaningful, and purpose-filled lives and make positive contributions to their communities and the world.

Recognizing that this learning takes place in a multitude of ways, the Foundation provides strategic grants and support to exemplary Jewish nonprofit organizations and initiatives with proven models for Jewish learning and talent development.

In particular, the Foundation solicits grants designed for long-term, large-scale effectiveness and sustainability. The Foundation also invests in unconventional talent, ideas, and opportunity landscapes to generate new value propositions for Jewish life.
