Over three decades ago, two Edmonton physicians had the vision to bring accessible health care to Albertans on a non-appointment, extended hour basis.

Making that vision a reality, in 1979 they established Medicentres, which is now the largest group of medical clinics in Western Canada. Medicentres continues to grow and evolve.

We now have 30 walk-in clinics in 8 Canadian cities with over 300 employees including nurses, receptionists and associated health care personnel and almost 200 practicing physicians.

Many of our walk-in clinics now include a variety of specialists who work in consult with our family physicians.
