Northern Arizona Council of Governments

Northern Arizona Council of Governments (NACOG) is a regional organization dedicated to strengthening communities and improving quality of life across Apache, Coconino, Navajo, and Yavapai counties.

Through collaboration, planning, education, and advocacy, we deliver essential programs and services that empower individuals, families, and local governments to thrive.

Our services include the Aging Program (Area Agency on Aging), promoting independence and dignity for older adults and caregivers; Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) and Community Services, enhancing infrastructure, reducing poverty, and expanding economic opportunity; Head Start and Early Head Start, supporting early learning, family engagement, and school readiness; Planning, advancing regional coordination in housing, transportation, and economic development; and Weatherization Assistance, helping households improve energy efficiency, safety, and cost savings.
