Project Harmony Child Protection Center is a community-based organization providing child-friendly, centralized and integrated child abuse assessment and investigation for children throughout eastern Nebraska and southwest Iowa.
Project Harmony works with state human services and local law enforcement agencies to protect the child and prosecute the offender. This past year, 8,064 children sought services at Project Harmony.
Since the opening of Project Harmony in 1996 more than 64,000 children have received vital services in prevention and child abuse assessment, investigation and treatment referral.
Prosecution rates have increased and abused children and their families are able to get professional help in the process of healing.
