Sipcam Agro USA, Inc., the US affiliate of Milan, Italy-based Sipcam Oxon S.p.A., acquired the assets of Waynesboro, Mississippi-based Odom Industries in December 2023, including plants with formulation, packaging and warehousing.
The company includes an operating facility, in Waynesboro, Mississippi and a large storage warehouse in Shubuta, Mississippi. The combined facilities have over 320,000 square feet of production and warehousing capability, located on 40 acres.
This new business will be operated by Sipcam Agro Solutions, LLC, a wholly owned subsidiary of Sipcam Agro USA, Inc. Sipcam Agro is back integrated with group partners in numerous active Ingredients (AI’s) globally, with synthesis and formulation plants in a number of countries.
With the USA and Canada targeted as the next growth countries, Sipcam is investing heavily in new solutions for Crop Protection and Turf and Ornamental (T&O) markets to deliver new products to the market and now will have domestic formulation and packaging capabilities.
