- Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of experience in logistics/parking and transportation management services (other related education and experience may be accepted in lieu of degree)

- Knowledge of liability issues/risk management, basic Occupational Safety and Health Administration and Department of Transportation regulations, and other standards such as National Fire Protection Association, Americans with Disabilities Act, and Joint Commission as relates to parking and transportation

Job Responsibilities
- Develops, implements, manages, and maintains systemwide efficient operational structure within the parking and transportation program which promotes proven customer service standards through both technical and non-technical means, including quality improvements, equipment enhancements, preventative maintenance, and policies and procedures.
- Identifies systematic strategies in the development and implementation of programs and training that focus on Georgia state law safe driving techniques governed by the National Safety Council.
- Oversees and manages self and valet parking and transportation systemwide.
- Develops, implements, and maintains budget for all areas of responsibility within parameters set forth at beginning of each fiscal year and reviews financial reports monthly and as required.
- Ensures the neatness, thoroughness, and timeliness of all reports generated by the department.
- Provides support, resources, and assistance for medical center staff and visitors on matters involving parking/transportation.
- Works collaboratively with security staff in developing and administering parking violations and transportation matters.
- Develops, interprets, implements, and revises departmental policies and procedures as necessary.
- Oversees defensive driving classes systemwide to all approved drivers and works with Risk Management to ensure all drivers check motor vehicle reports.
- Oversees and maintains acquisition, registration, and disposal of all fleet vehicles for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
- Oversees and maintains operations of parking equipment/decks by inspecting and working with vendors for repairs and maintenance and managing vendor contracts.
- Performs customer service surveys for all parking facilities and tracks performance measures.
- Manages and oversees development, implementation, and evaluation of processes that support increased quality, decreased cost, and improved service.
- Ensures timely and accurate payments to providers in accordance with applicable department plans as required.
- Oversees and performs all audits of credit card purchases within Facilities.
- Responsible for all aspects of managing and leading a team including: interviewing, hiring, training, developing, directing work and processes, managing performance, recognizing, and rewarding employees.
- Mentor team members to encourage personal and professional growth.
- Encourage ongoing skill development by providing opportunities for continued education.
