
Intervention Specialist
Job Description
The Intervention Specialist leads the mental health response to mass firearm incidents in the community. The Intervention Specialist convenes a mental health response network through this program and facilitates workshops in the community. The Intervention Specialist will build trusting relationships with community members, coordinate and provide supportive services for victims and their families. Using a multidisciplinary, multi-serve and system approach, this program provides a range of office, home-based and community-based services. This program requires coverage on weekends and holidays in addition to evening work.
