Azelis Finland is looking for a Sales & Product Manager, Chemicals in Tampere, Finland to further support our disruption of the industry – if you’re up for the challenge, you’ve come to the right place! Our Chemicals team handles various sub-segments such as Performance Chemicals, Essential & Fine Chemicals, CASE, and Homecare & Industrial Cleaning.
The mission
Our new Sales & Product Manager will support the mission of maintaining and developing sales of our Chemicals products and services to relevant industries (e.g. coatings, construction, chemical manufacturing, water treatment and processing industries) in Finland to achieve agreed business targets and meet customer needs.
Main accountabilities of the role
Own and grow an expanding customer base by spending time in the field, conducting regular account visits, and building strong, long‑term relationships with key decision‑makers at all levels. You thrive in a role that keeps you on the road and close to customers
Collect, analyze, and translate market, product, competitor, and industry insights into clear recommendations that support and shape the company’s forward strategy
Represent the company at trade fairs, exhibitions, and conferences, building a strong network and engaging with stakeholders across the industry
Understand and align with principal strategies, translating them into effective marketing plans across market, product, and customer segments
Build and strengthen relationships with principals to secure existing business and unlock new commercial opportunities
Act as a technical resource for the commercial teams, synthesizing and translating information from principals into clear, actionable insights
Develop compelling value propositions and sales arguments to enhance the effectiveness of the sales force and drive new customer projects
Monitor, report on, and respond to market and competitor activity, ensuring product and commercial strategies remain relevant and competitive
The individual we’re looking for
We’re looking for a colleague with a proven track sales record within Chemicals who excels within the below experience and skills:
Professional experience
Sound commercial experience in sales, product management, or technical/commercial roles within chemical applications (app. 5 years of experience)
Strong understanding of the Nordic Chemicals markets and their value chains
Experience working cross-functionally in an international or matrix organization
Bachelor’s degree within chemical engineering or equivalent is a plus but relevant experience is equally valued – it’s important you understand the technicalities of the market
Excellent communication skills whether it’s communication with your internal or external stakeholders – both English and Finnish are required, and Swedish is a plus
