Job Description

You will perform polysomnography sleep studies (diagnostic and therapeutic) for patients with various sleep disorders, including full patient setup, monitoring, and overnight surveillance In this role, you shall greet and educate patients, explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring completion of pre- and post-sleep questionnaires, satisfaction surveys, and technologist documentation You will make confirmation calls for upcoming patients to verify appointments and readiness for testing Titrate CPAP, Bi-level, and oral appliance therapy as required while minimizing disclosure of clinical information directly to patients Troubleshoot and resolve technical or equipment issues during the study to maintain high-quality data acquisition You will clean and organize the sleep lab after each study, properly storing leads, sensors, and equipment, and making beds in the morning Scan and submit technologist observations, questionnaires, and requisitions to administrative staff, and email them regarding any cases of severe sleep apnea Also, you will train and mentor less experienced staff, keep your BCLS current, and complete a minimum of 25 hours per year of sleep-related continuing education (CME), including attending quarterly CME meetings and contributing to staff education
