Brief Description:
- Receiving inspection and processing of incoming product/ material for customer orders, secondary processing, disposition of inbound PO's to QC.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive material and inspect items utilizing measurement tools per quality requirements (training provided as necessary)
- Ensure the accuracy of the material being received and identify discrepancies (damage, shortages, overages, etc.)
- Communicate effectively with all departments through email, telephone or in person to ensure effective flow of material and processing
- Prepare material after receipt to move to the appropriate department(s)
- Prepare and ship product designated for secondary operations
- Issue Non-Conforming Material Reports when necessary
- Prepare and process items/material being returned to suppliers (RTV)
- Complete all paperwork & documentation as specified in procedures and/or work instructions
- Utilize weigh scales, computer, copier, telephone, and fax.
- Operate stand up forklift, order picker, and pallet jacks (training provided as necessary)
- Perform all other duties as assigned or required
Education/Credentials:
- Warehouse experience in receiving is desired, but not required
- High school diploma or equivalent desired but not required
- Must be able to lift 10 to 50 lbs. of uneven weight
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Willingness to learn multiple duties and cross-train job duties as directed by management
- Good communication skills, written and verbal, required
- Ability to calculate basic mathematical equations
- Able to read, write, and speak the English language is required
- Basic computer skills are required
Position: Full-time
Work Hours: 8:00AM-4:30PM, Monday-Friday
Hourly Rate: $16.90 - $18.00
