Electrician (Apprentice - Journeyman)

GMEA Electrical Services is hiring motivated Electricians of all experience levels, from Apprentice to Journeyman, for a large commercial project in Katy, Texas. This is a great opportunity for someone that thrives in a fast-paced commercial jobsite environment while working consistent hours with strong overtime opportunities. 

Position Details:

• Commercial electrical work on a Costco project
• 60-hr work weeks available
• Weekly pay! 
• Pay from $22-$33/hr based on experience 

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems
• Pull wire, bend conduit, and assist with device installation
• Read and follow blueprints and electrical layouts
• Work safely and efficiently alongside field leadership
• Maintain clean and organized work areas
• Follow all OSHA and company safety requirements

Requirements: 

• Apprentice License required with at least one year of experience 
• Commercial/Industrial warehouse type experience preferred (Costco, Walmart, Amazon, HEB, etc.)
• Ability to work long hours and stay dependable
• Must have reliable transportation to work
• Ability to work well with a team and communicate professionally
• Must be able to lift, climb ladders, and work in active construction environments
