Saint Luke’s and Heart Surgeons of Kansas City are seeking a fifth BC/BE Vascular Surgeon to join their dynamic and collaborative team. This opportunity supports a robust mix of inpatient and outpatient care across two facilities: Saint Luke’s Hospital of Kansas City and Saint Luke’s East Hospital in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
Position Highlights:
• Collaborative, multidisciplinary vascular program with strong partnership across vascular surgery, vascular medicine/interventional cardiology, interventional radiology, and wound care—focused on delivering high-quality, comprehensive patient outcomes
• Balanced clinical practice including operative care, inpatient management, and outpatient clinics (1–1.5 days/week) across two campuses: a high-acuity tertiary referral center and a community-based hospital
• Broad procedural scope encompassing complex aortic interventions and outpatient vein treatments, supported by state-of-the-art facilities (dedicated cardiovascular and hybrid ORs, cardiac anesthesia, and outpatient vein procedure suites)
• Robust clinical infrastructure with APP support across care settings and a dedicated vascular lab staffed by experienced sonographers
• Favorable call schedule (no more than 1:4)
• Large, supportive research program with active participation in multiple clinical studies
• Leader in innovation, among the first in the region to adopt advanced technologies and techniques in vascular surgery
• Quality-driven team with participation in the Vascular Quality Initiative (VQI)
• Fully integrated Epic EMR
