Project Title

Data Analysis on Front Opening Unified Pod (FOUP) Transportation Time

Project Description

This project focuses on analysing transportation performance within a semiconductor manufacturing environment, where automated systems move wafer carriers known as Front Opening Unified Pods across the fabrication facility.
 

The intern will undertake a structured project involving data exploration, statistical analysis, and visualisation to understand transportation behaviour in a complex production system. Emphasis is placed on learning how large-scale operational datasets are analysed to derive insights related to system performance.

Objective of the Project

  • Identify key factors influencing transportation time of wafer carriers
  • Apply statistical and analytical techniques to real manufacturing datasets
  • Develop insights that enhance understanding of automated transport performance

Ideal candidate should be pursuing a Diploma or Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Applied Mathematics, or a related field with an emphasis on data analysis and statistical methods.
