Position Highlights:
• Immediate patient volume
• Hospital-attached clinic
• Experienced physician joining Summer 2026
• Experienced practice manager
• Two APP positions to be filled; experience preferred
Core Responsibilities:
• Assist the collaborating physician by supporting clinical and inpatient hospital duties.
• Conduct holistic evaluations of gastrointestinal symptoms, assessing physical, nutritional, mental, emotional, and social well-being.
• Diagnose, treat, and manage common acute and chronic GI conditions.
• Carefully monitor prescriptions, manage potential drug interactions, and tailor regimens based on liver function, comorbidities, and nutritional status.
• Offer tailored GI health screenings and preventive counseling for lifestyle modifications.
• Assess GI-related daily functioning, recommend assistive devices, and advise on safety.
• Explain GI conditions, treatment, and preventive strategies in clear, understandable ways.
Location:
• This is a full-time position based at the Phelps Health Hospital and Medical Office Building in Rolla, Missouri.
