Our US Corporate Tax practice supports Canadian and multinational organizations as they navigate the complexities of US taxation. The team advises on cross‑border structuring, compliance, and planning matters across a wide range of industries, delivering practical, technically rigorous advice on sophisticated engagements.
As a Senior Manager, you will lead complex US corporate tax engagements, oversee high‑quality delivery, and contribute to the continued growth of the practice. This role offers significant exposure to senior clients and firm leadership, opportunities to deepen technical expertise, and responsibility for developing talent and expanding client relationships.
What we offer
The expected base salary range for this role is $121,621.50 to $160,000 and may be eligible for bonus awards. The determination of an applicant’s base salary within this range is based on the individual’s location, skills, and unique qualifications.

What you will do
- Lead complex US corporate and partnership tax engagements for multinational and large private clients
- Review US tax compliance filings and tax provisions (ASC 740) for public and private companies
- Advise on cross‑border tax matters, including structuring, financing, and planning opportunities
- Manage multiple engagements, timelines, and deliverables in a dynamic, deadline‑driven environment
- Serve as a primary client contact, building trusted, long‑term relationships with senior stakeholders
- Provide technical leadership through review, coaching, and quality oversight of engagement teams
- Mentor and develop professionals, supporting technical progression and career growth
- Contribute to business development through opportunity identification, proposals, and practice initiatives
What you bring to the role
- Seven or more years of progressive experience in US corporate tax within public accounting or professional services
- Post‑secondary degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline
- US CPA designation, Enrolled Agent, or US Master of Tax
- Strong technical knowledge of US federal corporate and partnership taxation
- Experience with US tax compliance and ASC 740 provisions for multinational or complex private organizations
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple engagements, and engage effectively with senior client stakeholders
- Proven track record of mentoring professionals and providing clear, actionable feedback
- Experience with US tax compliance software (e.g., CorpTax, OneSource) and advanced Excel skills
- Fluency in English is required; French language capability is considered an asset
