Test Engineer for IVI HiL Testing

We are looking for 4+ years experienced Tester – IVI / IPC Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) Validation to lead system‑level validation of In‑Vehicle Infotainment (IVI) and In‑Vehicle Computing / IPC platforms using simulated vehicle environments.

In this role, you will architect scalable HIL platforms, define validation strategies, and ensure robust functional, performance, and reliability testing of IVI and cockpit ECUs using dSPACE HIL platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Developing test specifications for projects, performing tests and writing test reports
• Perform system‑level validation of infotainment, cockpit, and compute platforms 
• Execute functional, regression, stress, performance, and fault‑injection testing
• Integrating test environment components (HW, SW & Mechanic) in conformance with project needs
• Architect and deliver end-to-end HiL solutions using dSPACE SCALEXIO, ControlDesk, ConfigurationDesk, and MotionDesk.
• Define test strategies, automation frameworks, and coverage methodologies in line with ISO 26262 and ASPICE.

Developing the scenario-based testing and integrate vehicle dynamics using IPG CarMaker / ASM

Required skills and qualifications

• Automotive Domain knowledge
• Knowledge in IVI , IPC/BCM .
• Hands-on experience with automotive communication and diagnostic protocols (CAN, LIN, UDS, XCP). 
• Expertise with dSPACE ControlDesk, AutomationDesk, and SCALEXIO hardware.
• Vector Tools – CANoe, CANalyzer, vTESTstudio, DYNA4, VT Systems, Network interface cards
• Hands-on experience with Python, CAPL, MATLAB
• Exposure to SIL/MIL and advanced ADAS/AD validation.
• Familiarity with configuration and version control tools (e.g., Git, SVN).

Minimum Qualifications

· Bachelor's or master’s degree in Electronics or Computer Science

More than 4+ years' work experience in the automotive industry 

Nice to have

· ISTQB certification

· Experience with other HIL systems (e.g., Vector, NI).

· Knowledge of embedded software development and AUTOSAR concepts.
