Care Assistant
Job Description
As a Care Professional, you’ll become a trusted presence in your clients’ homes, supporting their independence, comfort, and dignity. Visits may take place throughout the day, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and some weekends, depending on your availability.
Your responsibilities may include:
Assisting with morning or evening routines
Preparing nutritious meals
Medication reminders
Accompanying clients to appointments or local activities
Supporting visits from family and friends
Providing warm, reassuring companionship
Every day is different, but each visit makes a meaningful difference to the lives of the people we support.
No prior care experience required (award-winning training provided at our Ringmer office)
Strong communication skills
Reliable transportation for visits across Lewes District and Uckfield
Excellent organisation and time management
A naturally caring and respectful attitude
UK residency required (no visa sponsorship available)
Driving licence and access to a vehicle preferred due to limited rural public transport
Minimum age 18
