Landscape Architect

GENERAL PURPOSE:  The Landscape Architect is a key member of the Architecture and Art Group, within the Center of Excellence Division of the Capital Delivery Department. Under general direction by the Principal Landscape Architect and in coordination with Environmental, Operations and other staff, the Landscape Architect serves as a point of contact for tree and vegetation related issues in design standards and capital project work. This position helps establish and provide a consistent approach for: tree and vegetation protection, impacts, mitigation, landscape design, and maintenance across all Agency projects for all modes of transportation. Provides guidance and coordination agency-wide for landscape architecture work for capital and operational projects.
