Job Description
As a Trainee in the Parts & Services Division EMEA at the BFA Ouagadougou facility, you will begin a full-time development journey within Epiroc’s Supply Chain and Sourcing environment (2 positions available). This role offers hands-on exposure to warehouse operations and logistics while contributing to a customer-focused organization, helping you build strong foundational skills in inventory and supply chain management.
Your responsibilities will include managing key warehouse processes such as receiving and inspecting goods, maintaining accurate inventory records, and handling picking and packing operations. You will ensure high housekeeping and safety standards while also supporting clearance processes, bonded warehouse documentation, and import/export coordination, working closely with clearing agents and ensuring compliance with legal and VAT requirements for international shipments.
Your Mission
- Verify goods upon arrival and ensure conformity with associated documentation.
- Coordinate import and export activities, providing clear instructions to designated clearing agents.
- Ensure full compliance with domestic and international legal requirements governing imports and exports.
- Collaborate in planning and coordinating international shipments from the primary centre (PC) to regional distribution centres (RDC) and further to local distribution centres (LCDs).
- Provide robust support to various countries within the region regarding legal matters, VAT, and necessary documentation.
- Manage bonded warehouse processes and related documentation meticulously.
Your Profile:
- Up to 1 year of experience in supply chain management or logistics, demonstrating eagerness to learn and develop.
- Basic understanding of domestic and international sales order throughput processes.
- Proficiency in English with strong verbal and written communication skills; additional languages will be considered an advantage.
- Highly organized with a commitment to continuous improvement and attention to detail.
- Strong supply chain orientation, with excellent planning and execution capabilities.
- Adaptability and openness to change in a fast-paced environment.
