Responsible for processing and issuing standby letters of credit and corporate guarantees. Processing and issuing letters of credit include communicating with the selected banks and business units, review the text for acceptability, getting issuance completed in a timely manner and accurate recording of the issued letters or credit. Ability to quickly learn in-house systems to utilize it and train others. Manage the in-house system, including user set-up and password resets. Payment of bank invoices.

Processing requests for corporate guarantees includes review of the text with counsel, issuing the documents and accurate recording of the documents. Manage the in-house system, including user set-up and password resets.

Requirements:

At least 2 years of standby letter of credit experience with bank operations or with a corporation that is a frequent issuer of standby letters or credit.
Solid understanding of standby letters of credit and the issuance process.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize work in a high pressure environment.
Tremendous attention to detail. Accuracy is of utmost importance.
Strong written communication skills.
Strong computer skills.
