Job Description:

The Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) team is focused on the Financial Services (FS) sector, providing financial due diligence (FDD) services to client in wealth management, insurance, banking, lending, payments services, fintech and other adjacent sectors


As a member of the FDD team you will be providing financial due diligence on both buy-side and sell-side transactions for private equity and corporate clients. You may also have the opportunity to work on public company transactions, primarily on AIM Market operated by the London Stock Exchange plc.

A look into the role

A Manager in the FS TAS team takes ownership of day-to-day project delivery, including client discussions, target business meetings, liaising with the internal team, preparing the analysis and report for the client deliverable and client take on procedures

Specifically, you will:

  • Lead the day-to-day delivery of small and medium sized projects, providing significant support on large and complex engagements, ensuring oversight of the work of team members,
  • Ensure project planning is undertaken comprehensively
  • Manage the preparation of client deliverables, contributing to the more complex areas of scope
  • Coach junior team members and provide oversight of their work
  • Lead or contribute significantly to diligence meetings with the target and client
  • Support senior colleagues in managing client and target relationships, including presenting findings to clients
  • Manage risk and ensure compliance with internal processes
  • Manage WIP and support timely invoicing and cash recovery
  • Think actively about your own growth as an advisor, including developing areas of market interest and potentially a sector or service line focus

Knowing you’re right for us

Joining us as a FS TAS Manager, the minimum criteria you’ll need is a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, CA, ACCA or CIPFA) with post qualification deals experience of at least 3 years.
