Job Description
Position Summary
The Lead Barista is responsible for overseeing daily coffee and beverage operations while providing exceptional guest service in a fast-paced hospitality environment. This role assists with team leadership, beverage preparation, and maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment for members and guests.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve coffee, espresso, and specialty beverages to club standards
- Provide exceptional customer service with a friendly and professional attitude
- Assist with leading and supporting barista team members during daily operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of coffee stations and service areas
- Monitor inventory levels and restock supplies as needed
- Ensure beverage consistency, presentation, and quality standards
- Handle guest questions and resolve service concerns professionally
- Support opening and closing procedures
- Work closely with Food & Beverage leadership to maintain smooth operations
Qualifications
- Previous barista or coffee service experience preferred
- Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Reliable, professional, and punctual
- Weekend and holiday availability required
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Frequent bending, reaching, and movement throughout shift
- Ability to work in a busy hospitality environment
