Job Description

Position Summary:

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual in their accounting career who is eager to grow within a dynamic, client focused organization.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Record and reconcile daily financial transactions for a multitude of different businesses, ensuring records are accurate, organized, and up to date.

  • Maintain and update the general ledger on a regular basis

  • Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and assist with month-end close procedures, including journal entries for payroll, depreciation, and interest.

  • Generate routine financial reports and summaries for internal and external review

  • Maintain organized and confidential financial files and documentation

  • Support clients with financial, software, and payroll questions

  • Monthly filing of sales tax returns

  • Annual preparation of Forms 1099
     

Required Qualifications:

  • 1–2 years of bookkeeping or accounting experience

  • Able to work independently on project type assignments

  • Knowledge of QuickBooks required, including QuickBooks online

  • Strong MS Office skills

  • Superior analytical and problem resolution skills with strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Willingness to work until work is done, which may require extended hours to meet team needs

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required

  • Excellent oral and written skills

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced team environment

  • You understand the need to provide a world-class customer experience

  • You value the collaboration of insightful, experienced colleagues to deliver our services

  • You demonstrate a strong affinity in financial services, exceptional communication, organization, and prioritization skills

Physical Requirements:

Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
