Job Description
IPAR are seeking individuals with a professional background in Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Psychology & Rehabilitation Counselling interested in working in the Occupational Rehabilitation sector in Melbourne!

Some of your day to day includes:
- Manage a varied caseload, supported by Rehabilitation Assistants to help reduce administrative workload
- Apply your clinical expertise to improve return-to-work outcomes and collaborate with employers and employees to deliver injury prevention initiatives and workplace education programs
- Work closely with injured workers, employers, medical and allied health professionals across a range of schemes, including workers compensation, CTP, life insurance, Comcare and DVA
- Conduct a variety of assessments using your discipline-specific skills, including Functional Capacity Evaluations, Worksite Assessments, Ergonomic Assessments and Activities of Daily Living Assessments
- Support individuals with injury or health conditions to achieve sustainable return-to-health and return-to-work outcomes
- Develop and implement tailored Return to Work plans
- Tertiary qualifications in Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Osteopathy, Psychology or Rehabilitation Counselling.
- Provisional or Full Professional Registration with AHPRA of Full ESSA Accreditation or Full ASORC Membership
- Strong interpersonal skills - there is a lot of getting to know your clients and stakeholders!
- Excellent Time management and organizational skills
- Empathy, paired with genuine compassion and kindness, makes all the difference in this role.
- Patience and resilience - essential for navigating challenges and supporting clients through their recovery journey
- A current VIC Driver’s License and access to own car with comprehensive insurance is a must!
