You’ll be the face of the BD function for PSS in Germany and Austria, driving high‑value opportunities, influencing senior stakeholders, and playing a key role in our long‑term commercial strategy.

Your Impact
- Take full ownership of business development activities across Germany and Austria.
- Build and execute winning sales strategies that deliver measurable growth and expand our regional footprint.
- Identify, qualify, and close new opportunities — from first contact to contract signature.
- Develop deep relationships with senior stakeholders in pharma, biotech, and related industries.
- Translate client needs into tailored PSS service solutions that deliver value and strengthen long‑term partnerships.
- Lead proposal development, commercial negotiations, and contracting processes with support from senior leadership.
- Collaborate closely with Key Account Managers, site leaders, and global teams to maximise cross‑selling and strategic alignment.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts, pipeline visibility, and CRM‑compliant reporting.
- Represent Eurofins PSS at industry events, conferences, and client meetings to elevate our brand presence.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying new service opportunities and market trends.
What You Bring
- Degree in Life Sciences or equivalent business/vocational qualification; additional business or finance training is a plus.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in business development, ideally within the pharmaceutical or GxP‑regulated environment.
- Proven success selling complex service solutions to senior decision‑makers.
- Experience with insourcing, outsourcing, managed services, or laboratory services is highly advantageous.
- Strong understanding of product commercialisation, manufacturing, supply chain processes, and associated testing/service needs.
- Excellent German and English communication skills.
- Ability to influence across functions, collaborate across sites, and build strong internal and external networks.
- Credibility and confidence when engaging with senior leadership.
- Strategic mindset paired with hands‑on commercial drive.
