**This position will split time between Panama City, FL and Tallahassee, FL; a company vehicle is provided.**
Your Primary Responsibilities will include
- Manage day-to-day CEI project operations to ensure compliance with contract requirements, plans, specifications, governing regulations, and safety standards.
- Provide technical guidance to the project team, interpret plans and specifications, and resolve field issues while documenting and communicating decisions clearly.
- Review and evaluate Contractor submittals, including RFIs, CPM schedules, and claim packages, and provide well-supported recommendations.
- Ensure CEI documentation, materials records, and correspondence meet contract, CPAM, and quality standards.
- Lead and coordinate CEI project staff, ensuring high-quality documentation, communication, and adherence to internal policies and procedures.
- Lead project meetings and coordinate with contractors, clients, and stakeholders to support progress and issue resolution.
- Manage project budgets, track labor usage, and support overall financial performance and forecasting.
- Build and maintain effective relationships with clients, partners, and other project stakeholders to support successful project delivery.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, providing guidance in technical, administrative, and leadership growth areas.
- Support business development by identifying future work opportunities and participating in pursuit activities.
What you'll need
- Engineering degree and registration in the State of Florida as a Professional Engineer (or if registered in another state, the ability to obtain registration in the State of Florida within six months).
- Four (4) years of engineering experience; Ten (ten) if no engineering degree held
- Strong technical writing skills
- FDOT Advanced MOT
- Attend CTQP QC Manager Course and pass the examination
- Complete the Critical Structures Construction Issues, Self-Study Course
- Position requires a minimum of 40 hours a week
