Job Description

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you'll ensure the high hotel standards our guests expect from our Partnership Hotels. From providing an excellent, friendly service to ensuring the hotel remains clean, you'll work as part of a supportive and dynamic hospitality team which all help to keep our guests returning time and time again for enjoyable getaways with their loved ones. In addition to your contractual pay, any time worked between 22:00 - 06:00 will attract Night Premium at a rate of £3.75 per hour. This will also apply to existing Partners who have enrolled onto Enhanced Hours Premium arrangements. Key Responsibilities - Cleaning and maintaining guest rooms, bathrooms and public and partner areas. - Safe use of housekeeping tools and chemicals, to include vacuum cleaners, mops and cleaning materials. - Supporting other areas of the hotel operation, when required. - Maintaining strict health and safety standards. - Although task focused, our Housekeeping Assistants also need to demonstrate excellent customer service skills to ensure interactions with our guests are positive ones, providing a first rate guest experience. Essential skills/experience you'll need - Self-motivated and industrious, with a natural meticulous attention to detail. - Ability to work under pressure and as part of a team. - Basic knowledge of IT & POS systems and able to use standard software. Desirable skills/experience you may have - Experience of housekeeping in a hotel environment

Varied hours of full time work (37.5 hours per week) across seven days to include early starts from 06:00, late finishes until 21:00 and alternate weekends.
