Opened in 2008, Four Seasons Hotel Macao has become a coveted destination for both business and leisure travelers who seek exceptional and personalized services. Its numerous awards and satisfied customers attest to its excellence. In October 2020, Four Seasons Hotel Macao introduced The Grand Suites, an all-suite tower that took the concept of luxury and bespoke services to new heights. With the addition of 289 suites, the Hotel's room count increased to a combined total of 649 keys, making it the largest property within the Four Seasons group. Situated at the heart of the Cotai Strip, the hotel provides an elegant oasis with elite entertainment, high-end shopping, world-class dining, and the indulgent pampering that defines Four Seasons.About the Role
We currently have an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Director of Rooms to join our team at Four Seasons Hotel Macao. As a key member of the hotel’s leadership team, you will oversee the Front Desk, Concierge, Housekeeping, Core Team, Guest Experience, and Guest Services functions.
In this role, you will be responsible for delivering the highest standards of service, ensuring both guest and employee satisfaction, and resolving issues promptly and effectively. You will play a vital role in both operational and strategic decision-making while fostering a positive, collaborative working environment. Most importantly, you will assess, develop, and elevate the current team to the next level of excellence.
What You Will Do
- Lead the Rooms Division leadership team in driving continuous improvement across Forbes, LQA/Qualtrics, and Four Seasons standards.
- Ensure clear communication and consistent follow-up on guest and employee requests, special requirements, and hotel initiatives. Oversee recruitment, training, performance management, and, when necessary, disciplinary actions.
- Achieve divisional and overall hotel financial goals by managing labor costs and controlling expenses related to supplies and equipment. Collaborate closely with Revenue, Sales, and Front Office teams to maximize rate, occupancy, and total revenue. Support forecasting efforts and lead the development of the annual budget.
- Uphold Four Seasons service standards and culture, operating in alignment with the brand’s mission and philosophy. Develop and support initiatives that promote employee engagement, training, and career growth within the Rooms Division. Contribute actively to the Planning Committee, supporting long-term strategy and innovation.
What You Bring
- Currently serving as a Director of Rooms, with 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in luxury hospitality.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin or Cantonese.
- A bachelor’s degree (minimum requirement).
- Strong expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control, with a proven ability to balance guest satisfaction and profitability.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making skills, with a proactive and solution-oriented approach to both guest and employee concerns.
