DUTIES:
- Support technologies that deliver customer, product and developer experiences for the UXL platform and supports UXL consumer and contributor enablement for all stakeholders, for example Digital Channels, Associate Channels, EAPI, Domain API etc.
- Collaborate with business partners and technical teams to maintain a well-groomed product backlog of features to include refined user stories with solid technical solutions that are ready for development.
- Involved in the product end-to-end, from discovery and user story refinement, all the way through to supporting engineering and operations to ensure customer satisfaction goals are met.
- Demonstrate management skills and leadership in a highly matrixed environment and must be comfortable working with multiple stakeholders on numerous competing priorities.
- Bridge technical and business efforts and will bring a product mindset to API product management.
- Engage key stakeholders to drive the development and implementation of enhancements or new capabilities from conception to launch while understanding any implications of decisions and suggest trade-offs in terms of complexity and timelines.
- Responsible for managing, enhancing and executing against the integrated multi-year UXL roadmap across platform enhancements, consumer and contributor enablement to drive adoption and platform performance goals while improving the customer experience.
- Support a cross-functional team capable of championing and communicating the needs and benefits of UXL powered by GraphQL technology and the GraphQL API products
- Bridge innovation across emerging and existing Digital products and platforms.
- Oversee strategic digital partnerships with external and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain a well-groomed product backlog of features to include refined user stories with solid technical solutions that are ready for development
- Provide clear vision and scope documentation, use cases and workflows to support development and leverage APIs and shared platforms to deliver engaging digital experiences
- Document user experience flows to clearly demonstrate how user experience relates to GraphQL APIs for each product to help support consumer onboarding, evangelization and UXL adoption
- Help define new product features and optimizations of existing ones, and incorporate them into UXL product roadmap
- Develop new requirements based on usage of the platform as well as by consumers and contributor needs
- Monitor progress of adoption of best practices
- Contribute to the development of the team through training/mentoring others, knowledge sharing and leveraging of best practices
- Manage day-to-day team activities while being main point of contact for consumer stakeholders of UXL
- Manage consumer and contributor onboarding process, provides product stakeholder management throughout enablement, gathers feedback from internal and external stakeholders and introduces improvements and creates efficiencies
- Monitor UXL intake tickets and manages lifecycle of intake tickets.
- Gain feedback from internal and external stakeholders for intake processes, provides recommendation for improvements, implements additional process as necessary
- Measure platform KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and reports on impact platform metrics to senior leadership
- Evangelize UXL and GraphQL API
- Provide technical expertise and support to persons inside and outside of the department
- Demonstrate knowledge of job-relevant issues, products, systems, and processes
- Demonstrate knowledge of function-specific procedures
- Keep up-to-date technically and apply new knowledge to job
REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent degree in Software Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science or related technical field followed by 6 years of progressively responsible experience in information technology application design or development.
Experience must include:
- 6 years of experience with Agile Development methodologies and product development planning and execution and tools including JIRA.
- 6 years of experience converting business needs into technology requirements
- 6 years of experience assessing customer needs, creatively approaching solutions, and deciding and influencing appropriate courses of action
- 6 years of experience explaining product vision, business objective, technical feasibility, defining requirements, and technical implementations in oral and written presentations to stakeholders
- 6 years of experience leading shared products or technical platforms
- 5 years of experience with API technology concepts
- 4 years of experience delivering results under challenging conditions, particularly when faced with complexity, ambiguity, and aggressive timelines
- 1 year of experience directly or indirectly managing teams.

SALARY: $150,426-$180,700 per year
