Possible tasks within this role

Developing an AI-based method for generating hardware test cases
-
Automating the execution of test specifications for printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA testing)

Investigating how executable test sequences can be generated automatically (from requirements, circuit data, and existing test specifications)

Supporting series development of automotive hardware in accordance with Automotive SPICE, internal development processes, and functional safety (ISO 26262)

Assisting in the design, execution, and documentation of hardware unit and integration tests in compliance with defined requirements
Qualification requirements
- Enrolled Students (also in a Gap Year) in Electrical Engineering, Technical Computer Science, or similar fields
- Good to very good academic performance
- Knowledge in power electronics / pulse inverters for electric drives, hardware development, or similar areas is desirable
- Knowledge of MATLAB, PLECS, LTSpice, VBA, and Microsoft Office is preferred
- German and English language level B2
- Valid driver’s license (Class B) required

The gross hourly wage for internships (including mandatory internships) and thesis projects is equal to the current minimum wage.
