Field Water Quality Analyst

With a FIFO 8/6 roster (Thursday–Thursday) to Newman and a 6-monthly attendance bonus, you’ll enjoy a balanced lifestyle while building a strong foundation in the field.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Collecting water samples (potable, wastewater, sewage, soil, and hygiene) in line with Australian Standards and regulatory guidelines.
- Conducting field tests and immediately reporting any anomalies.
- Preparing and submitting daily field reports within 24 hours of sampling.
- Coordinating field consumables, sampling media, and equipment for each job.
- Completing Job Safety Analyses (JSA) and risk assessments as required.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, or related field (desirable, not essential).
- Field experience in mining and/or sampling (desirable).
- Strong communication skills, ideally with client-facing experience.
- C-class manual driver’s license (essential).
- 4WD training and Senior First Aid (desirable).
- Willingness to work FIFO on an 8/6 roster.
