Job Description

Engineering Change Management

  • Coordinate the end-to-end Engineering Change Request (ECR) process, from initial risk analysis to final implementation.
  • Oversee sample build activities for PV testing and quality evaluations, ensuring seamless coordination between cross function team and testing labs.
  • Check and defined the validation testing item related with the changing point.
  • Manage technical documentation, including BOM updates, internal drawings, approval drawing, SAP operation basic function.
  • Support ISO16949, ISO45001 activities, related with project.
  • Monitor project health through bi-weekly PDCA updates and cost-reduction tracking.
  • Manage and collaboration about environmental compliance submissions (IMDS).

 Customer Interface & Strategy

  • Act as the primary technical point of contact for major '' Japan OEM, Thailand OEM '' automotive customers.
  • Prepare and deliver high-impact technical presentations, focusing on Fit, Form, and Function Impact of the Proposed Chang, Cpk results, and project timelines.
  • Understand Design FMEA. 
  • Lead conduct activity of Design Review Based on Failure Mode (DRBFM) sessions in collaboration with international teams from Japan and Thailand.

 Education & Professional Experience

  • Degree: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in the automotive industry (Tier 1 supplier or OEM background preferred), specifically handling engineering changes or project coordination.

Technical & Process Skills

  • Engineering Change Management: Proven experience managing end-to-end ECR/ECN processes, from initial risk analysis and changing point identification to implementation.
  • Validation & Testing: Strong understanding of defining validation test items based on the physical and functional changes of a component (PV/DV testing).
  • Quality & Core Tools: Deep knowledge of DRBFM (Design Review Based on Failure Mode) and DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis).
  • Standards & Compliance: Experience supporting automotive standards such as IATF 16949 and ISO 45001 (or ISO 14001). Familiarity with IMDS (International Material Data System) submissions.
  • Documentation & Systems: Proficiency in managing Bill of Materials (BOM), engineering/approval drawings, and basic SAP functions for stock or part management.

Soft Skills & Communication

  • Cross-Functional Coordination: Demonstrated ability to bridge the gap between engineering, local production line teams, testing labs, and sales and team work mindset.
  • International Customer Interface: Comfortable acting as the primary technical window for major Japanese OEMs (JOEM) and Thai OEMs (TOEM).
  • Presentation Skills: Strong capability in preparing and presenting clear "Fit, Form, and Function" impact reports directly to automotive customers.
  • Language: Good communication in English
