Safety-Kleen in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Warehouse Worker (known internally as a Material Handler) to join their safety conscious team! You will be responsible for completing all assigned warehouse duties in a safe and responsible manner.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and acting in a safe manner always.
- Unload and reload route truck;
Reload route trucks with supplies and equipment for next day’s runs
Ensures all waste and containers are in acceptable shipping condition and organized for transport to recycle or distribution centers
Conduct inventory count and reconciliation
Verify, receive, stock, and organize product
Pick, package, and ship outbound orders
Operate heavy material handling equipment such as forklift and pallet jack
Load and unload trucks with various equipment and by hand
Coordinate transportation for outbound shipments
Local deliveries when needed
Move trailers or trucks within the yard
Housekeeping in the branch (painting, picking up trash, sweeping, cleaning, straightening)
Assist other business units
Safely operate vehicles in accordance with U.S. DOT, local, state (provincial) and federal requirements
Safely observe all corporate operating guidelines and procedures
Observe all company environmental health and safety operating guidelines
Perform other duties as assigned
Follow all local, state (provincial) and federal compliance regulations and rules
QUALIFICATIONS
What does it take to work at Safety-Kleen?
- High school diploma or GED;
- Ability to work independently while managing time and productivity;
- Ability to perform physical functions per job requirements;
- Availability Mon-Fri 5AM-1:30PM- Subject to change as business needs change to staggard shifts.
- Reliable transportation required for local travel between facilities.
- Strong communication skills;
- Problem solving skills;
- Ability to work with waste labels, manifests, and load sheets;
- Forklift experience required
- Experience in a warehouse environment preferred
